Inviting all sledders to West Yellowstone

Thread Rating
5.00 star(s)
GW,
Its been since the Snowest Party Feb. 2003 since I graced the doors of the motel, but I may have an opportunity to visit again, mid October.

Will 'ya be open, or on vacation?

Google Maps puts W.Yls, IP, etc as part of a route to my sons location near Placerville,CA.
Might be an excuse to spend a night at the GW on the way.

I'll advise when/if plans come together soon.

Coming across I-94, I could stop and bug Gimpster, and a lot of other 4M rats. LOL. :D

'wiz.

here is the thread on the sled!
http://www.snowest.com/forum/showthread.php?t=161383

It rocks very well done and pic's don't do it justice! I liked it so much I'm building the smaller little brother to this sled! Hopefully he lets me test ride his once the ground is white in Rapids. Justin the matching turbo will come next year, had to buy a trailer this year!!!

Thank you for posting the link to the sled. Enjoy everyone, and yes test rides are always welcome. Also I will be heading out west early this year to install some turbo kits so if anyone else is pondering a Turbo let me know. Also I will be posting pictures of my arctic cat turbo kits.
Thanks
Justin

(how bout them Vikings Kurt?)

Scott...

I have been around here for a long time and spend quite a bit of time on forums for various hobbies and would like to pass on on the feedback that there is way too much junk on this format. Delete the rainbow charts, make the avatars about 1/4 the size, remove all of the bs that auto populates at the bottom of each post, and lets get back to snowmobile conversations. Every post doesn't need 3 links, a smart *** comment, and a weather report. All of this crap just results in more scrolling and less usefull information. I don't really care how many posts a person has, what their rating is, or what their comment of the day is. What I want to read is Kurt's snow reports and pictures from his rides so we can get geared up for our trip.

You've not heard it from one more regular on the forum....too clunky

DOM, the rainbow thing isn't visible is it?
BTW, I have nothing to do with that. I only manage the Montana forum. :)

I'm happy to see Kurt's snow reports too...and he can keep on posting them.

Kurt,

We are building a group of guys for a trip between Christmas and New Years. We'll hopefully have 8-10 of us, do you have anything that can accommodate us under one roof or are we better off with renting a couple room?

Chris.

DOM, and then there is the snow in North Dakota thread going on 3800 replys, Guess they would rather....

Nice. We had snow on the peaks this morning...down to about 7500'. :)
I heard it was snowing in Ketchum, ID last night. They are right at 6000'.

Could someone take a screen shot of the webcam and post the pic, Work has it blocked and I would really like to see it.
