Thanks Caveman and the crew that was with yeah for helping a guy in my group get dug out.

Snow was pretty good, visibility terrible, just like normal whenever we're in town it seems. We went south, seemed like the wind picked up so we took the power line back into town. Thanks to a GPS set on eastern time we are back 2 hours earlier than expected...

Hey ust421 how on earth did he end up like this?

Well you know them dragons think they can go to the moon. I guess he didn't see the drop on that other side and didn't hit it hard enough. The snow was sure blowed in down there wasn't it?

I swear, can no one f#%&ing forecast the weather for the mountains??? Another windy, foggy day, but with a bit of blue sky mixed in. We rode up to lionshead today, where we haven't been for a few years, and found some good snow. Headed home early tomorrow morning with hopes to catch the tail end of the bowl.

Chris.

Be in West on Monday with eleven from southern MN. Leavin MN at 3:00 pm tomorrow. Super bowl on the road should be a great time. Hoping for lots of new snow around West during next week. Be our third trip to area and always looking for new spots.

As of now would it be worth coming out next weekend?

There's a chance of light snow the next three days, but that can change. Then mostly sunny for the rest of the week. Still good snow to be found but you have to look for it. Town isn't real busy so it won't get tracked up that fast. Best I can tell you is keep watching the forcast out here, or give me a call mid week, 406-646-7778..............

Will do Golden. Wondering if anyone would be willing to give a few ideas of places to ride when the weather is stormy around West. We have been there atleast once for the past 5 years and always seem to get a few days of bad weather and then one good clear day. We instantly head up north on a clear day but dont know where to drive when its blowing. Any help would be appreciated. Also curious about guides around West to show us some good places south of town and the cost of them as well. Mike
