Interesting thoughts on glue failures.

post 4 I mention that the water can enter via the holes in the mounting points. In this topic.
Yes post 21 in the link above.
It was also a topic last fall/winter sometime, I just can not find it.
Looks like Polaris fixed it and is moving on.
I wonder if your 2013 a arm will be replaced with a 2014 if it separates.
I do not think the silver arms were offered this year.
That is what one get for buying a "new" model year.

i thought the chassis was still bolted, and riveted together after it is glued?

meaning if the glue fails its still going to be held together right?

not talking about a arms as i have an assault

Oh, they also went nuts with the glue and dielectric grease this year. Globs of glue everywhere and the grease is on EVERYTHING that is electrical or in the general area of anything electrical, lol. Even a glob dripped on the hood under the gauge. Seems like they are taking more time during assembly, so that is a good thing.

when i put my gauge cage on the speedos rubber seal was coated in that white grease, damn quality market checks everywhere, grease dripping off every nipple. Think this 14 is going to be the best pro yet.

I agree, they are getting things figured out. But I have to carry a rag with me when working on these slimy things, lol.

Seen this on Instagram. Looks like rusty ends where the glue is suppose to be.

Hey guys my friends pulled apart like that so all we did was clean the crap out of the metal and jb welded it slide it back in and drilled a hole and riveted each bar into the balljoint part of the aarm. Do it up since waranty is a joke and so is buying another 350$ arm.
