Interest In SE Idaho Forum ride

I think i can make it. as of tonight at 11:12pm.

I WILL bring the propane cooker for some fine delicacies to cook for the hill. Al long as Rexburg Motor will cut the check for the goods! I am trying to think of other things that will help the ride out from my end and will respond with those ideas. I think RMS is creative and could come up with some cool things to help the ride along.

I had one idea. That was to get SLP involved. Maybe they could bring up some of their demo sleds with all thier goods on it for you all to check out??? I THINK you could ride them. I would have to check the liability on something like that on thier end.

What about Snowest (you know the most powerful sled magzine in the world) might be able to come out and shoot some pics to put in an article. That would be cool. You all could be famous.

Big Springs parking lot is plenty huge.

And i should have the horn installed and WORKING on the XP by then as well. I should win the mod sled of this forum ride easily. You may have a fancy turbo....but a $14 horn....priceless.

Bubba, i think i know who you are. Did you have a TObe jacket on for the shrimp ride??? And were you with the Lieshman's??

So.......here is what Rexburg motor will do for the ride.

See below From the Grand Poo-bah fo RMS Chief jared Burt who emailed me the following:

"We will take a big wall tent up to midway point of the ride. We take food up for the entire army and feed everybody that stops.

We will Post a contest online that gives $100 shopping spree to rider with coolest mid-90's snowgear. ](sweaters, or purple jackets to neon ...it's all good!)We'll take pics of everyone and post on our site for riders to vote on.

We make the ride a big store ride as well that ties into it. I will take a sled with a hitch and sled to pull for tent and supplies."

So there you have it. Looks like free food and fabulous door prizes for the ugliest outfit! You don't have to wear it all day. pack it in and wear it at least for the photo ops that will be there.

Haha, well sound like RMS is going to throw in the food,
lets get a rough estimate of people. I know alot of this is last min cause....................... it is :D What more would you expect from a single college guy that doesn't plan for squat?

So post if your planning on coming and group size.

yes.

group sizes would be useful.

Working on getting SLP to show up with some of thier sleds. I will keep you posted there.

Jeff and I were thinking about drivin up and attending!! But don't put us down in your head count. It's still up in the air right now. Last minute thing if we make it!!

I was thinking 70's too. You know those sexy one piece suits..............

ANYTHING old school will work. I think you will get more votes for the older your and more corny your stuff looks. Have fun, dress like a fool and win $100. cant loose.

I will be sporting a sweater that could make any sno-jetter cry...I have a mullet wig. Don't make me pull that out.

can you say 100% wool!!!

There will 4 from RMS and probably 3 from my posse of vagabonds.

4+3=7 . I think.

Talked to Adam Wood at SLP. he will be showing up with him and another SLPer for the ride with some of their sleds. They will be able to answer questions and go over everything that you want to know about SLP.

Pretty cool of them.

sorry to borrow this thread....

I am curious what the snow is like up in your neck of the woods? The warm weather down here (Northern California) has melted a lot of the snow. I am thinking of heading up that way if the conditions are decent....

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
