Like the tittle says, who would be interested in a SE Idaho Forum ride?
Would be fun to get together and put some faces to names and maybe learn a new area. I know there is a ton of guys on here that are from that area. Post ideas for time and where. Hopefully we can put this together.

im down. Backside of jefferson? or where?

Just sorta of looking for opinions of places, Jeff. would be a great place iMO maybe meet down at the base of Windshield. Haul a BBQ in through will creek maybe, small races up windshield. Just thoughts at this point.

The sooner a date is set the better.. I think a big group of us would come down depending when it is.. I have ridden only ridden in Paris a couple of times.. other than that it would all be new territory me..

i would be interested in makeing a trip over there i was going to try and make it to island park last year but never got around to it
but i think its a good idea

Sledd'n

We would be down to go I'm sure we could fill a trailer load here in Southern Idaho to go ride from this area...

This sounds great to me. After 10 years of being stuck in Salt Lake City, I'm finally moving back to Blackfoot where life is normal. Therefore, riding with the buds I've made here would be quite the trip and am going to need to find some people to ride with back up there. Let me know what y'all decide and I'll be there.

Sounds like there is some interest. What do people think if the weekend of the 17/18 of January Up in Island Park? Snow should be great around that time and Ip has many dif. types of terrian to ride. I really have 0 experience in planning this sorta thing so any suggestions would be great.

Just make sure people are aware of the areas you're going so they know what to expect. Jeff. is great for people who are familiar with backcountry riding and know how to read terrain, conditions, etc.
Island Park would be my first choice though, but a few different groups for the ride would be a good idea, then anyone and everyone could participate. I've ridden up there since I was 8, and Island Park has great riding for everyone from the beginner to the expert.
Good idea though, if I'm around that week I'll probably see ya'll there. Just some advice for the "hold my beer and watch this" guys, you might just want to take water or gatorade into Jefferson.

I'm only going to tell you guy this ONE TIME! if a guy by the stage name sledhauler 07 starts looking for riding ppls. Get a GOOD BACK DOC!! he just moved from boise to poki and I'm hear to tell you his sled weighs a TON! not to mention he is like 5'9" and 385# and talks more smack the a NY pimp.

I was thinking about that After I mentioned Jeff. Lots a places to get into trouble. Maybe Blacks Canyon area? I don't know the rest of IP that well. I mostly ride in the big holes.
Island park would be great I know IDSLEDHEAD'S wife and mine would like to tag along as well if the riding isn't going to consist of only straight up and straight down kinda hills :D
Bring em along! Im not huge in to climbing personally. Hade a couple bad experiences so I like to stick to the trees and boondocking.

I would be in......

I would suggest the big springs lot for a start point because they have a great warming hut that could handle a large group and there is pretty much all kinds of riding from that point. it is centrally located and is right on the groomed trail system for those that are into that sort of thing..
