instead of spending thousands on lightweight mods.....

I just want to look good it my Free Ride Pants. The first thing I ask every morning before we leave the trailer is....do these Free Rides make me look fat.

haha i know theres some people that shouldnt lose anymore weight...but if you can then you should think about spending money on healthy food which is cheaper than lightweight aftermarket parts.

Month ago weighed in at roughly 220, now down to 201, going for 190 before season really gets going good. Changed diet to low fat - low sodium for health reasons and nice result was weight loss. Along with the exercise program I feel better than I have in years.

Of course a large part of that may also be a result of quitting smoking as well.

Now to put the sled on a similar diet.

I weigh about 235 right now. I put my friend who weights about 150 on my sled and he outmarked my highest mark by a good two sled lengths. It makes a big difference.

Im just fat! I go to the gym 2hrs a day 7 days a week and been 275 since high school! I lose ten this week and gain 20 the next week! I fluxuate like 30lbs! my sled loses the weight and keeps it off!

Spending $$ of lightweight mods is fun and my hobby. There is nothing better than spending a few hours in the garage tearing apart a sled. In the end, I like to talk weight loss but i really don't care that much. If i'm not gonna spend $$ on my sled then I'll spend it somewhere less enjoyable.

Dropping body weight is just miserable

Sorry to intrude if this is a girls only thread, but, so what are you girls wearing this year to go with your new bodies.

Just messing with you. Couldn't pass on that one. Seriously good for you guys. Thanks for the Inspiration. I need to drop a few that I gained back by a busy, stressful summer.
The biggest bonus of your weight loss as far as sledding is concerned is that you will be riding non stop while staying better in control and getting your money's worth out of whatever you end up spending on either one. KUDO'S

My dad and i are pretty hardcore about getting our sleds down to as light as possible and last year we both had 08 xp's his a 163 and mine a 154-both were in the 415 area wet......other than getting our sleds light we have a contest on who can lose the most weight before first trip...its a good competition, last year i gave up budweiser that saved me 15 lbs

I have no problem being around 300, but i'm 6'4". I can throw my sled around like a breeze, stronger for digging my sled out. Weight doesn't concern me being 300lbs and riding a 04 KK, 10lbs wouldn't matter on my combo! I've tried going to the gym, lost like 10lbs, don't really change much I do hard physical labour all year round, my diet is just really terrible. If I was to go to the gym again, it would be to get in shape and build the leg strengh up for riding, weight loss doesn't bother me.
