instead of dropping thousands of dollars on all those lightweight mods think about this... if you go on a diet and lose 30 pounds thats the same as dropping 30 pounds off your sled. its healthy and it saves money.........lol....its true but im definatly a mod sled type of guy.

I see some guys who are around 300 lbs and they are always the ones saying, this dropped 8 lbs and the hood was 3 and..............

I just can't help but laugh

smart fellers up there in AK.....

course dropping 30 pounds of lard doesn't exactly stimulate the economey now does it.....

but what do I care, I way 135 and my sled is broke.

5'8" and 175#, and very strong. M8 ported/piped and severely dieted 500# ready to ride.

I should put a 2-45# plate in the front of my sled, just to keep it fair.

Maybe some of us don't have an extra 30lbs to lose, so our sleds has to have the diet instead. Lol, just got the image stuck in my head of my sled doing push-ups......

We call ALL loose 10 lbs...I dropped 10 this past 3 months...just quit snacking so much...AND getting FULL at meal time.

Back down within 15 pounds of my HS graduation weight. LOL

This reminds me of something funny that happened a little over 30 years ago. A few of us were riding a trail and came upon a group stopped for a braek. We stopped to bs with them. One of this group as a rather large fellow who rode in a Raider. If you are old enough you will remember the raider had a rear engine, two narrow tracks, and the rider sat down inside a kind of cockpit in front of the engine.

When one of our group said lets get going, another one in our group said, "No lets wait until those guys go first, I want to see the crain that lifts that guy into the Raider".

the more weight you take off your sled the easyer it is to throw around. a nother thing is that weight of the sled is basicly stationary. the lighter the sled is the less work the rider has to do.

I have lost about 10punds so far, hoping to lose another twenty before the season starts... My friends have orderd XP´s and i bought a M1000 so weight is on their side... Soo far...
