I used a 4" grinder with a cut off wheel and a dremel with the extension for the hard to reach places under the foot wells. Be careful in the rear for the suspension brackets.

I used a pneumatic body saw, it worked great...

I used a Sawz All and a dremel cut off wheel. There is one factory gripper just before the rear suspension bracket that I pounded flat. Other than that, cut and rivet! Pretty straight forward!

i use a jig saw with a metal blade. i cut from the underside of the running board.

Plasma cutter is best. Call a weld shop and see if they will cut it for cheapo.

I went with 4 inch metal disc and a metal hack saw blade.

Definently a plasma cutter works best and makes short work of it.

Thanks. I like the black stealth look over the "hey look at me and my flames" look of most covers.

Plus it sounds like the WE shocks are pretty fragile, most guys that have covered them have had fewer problems.

i just bought some better boards today, they just had the plain ones but i like the red ones so i might get them powder coated. if i do that i want a little more red on the sled so what all did you guys do red on yours (if you did any at all) maybe some pics so i can see what it looks like please. any tips on installing these?
