I ran 2 of the Indy Specialties profiles this year, the V3 and the V5. The V3 is hard hitting snappy weight that I really liked for tree riding. The weights were easy to adjust, performed great with tons of bottom and mid range grunt and a respectable top end. Test sled was stock Axys 800. Also tested the V5 weights, much smoother than the V3, a great low speed weight that wont lead to trenching, pulled well had an almost electric feel compared to the semi violent V3.
V3, great for the guy that loves a strong bottom end and doesn't mind committing to a line and keeping up on belt deflection.
V5, great all around weight, adjustable and a stronger pull than a 10 series weight. These are the weights I am running in my wife's sled.
The two different profiles fit different riders and if your honest with yourself and needs, Dan/Jon can help you can choose the proper weight for your application. I also like that I went from 20 sets of 10 series, Belly Buster and MTX weights etc to 4 sets of Adjustable weights that can cover every elevation I ride without bolts and loctite. I can adjust the weights in minutes and fine tune the shift profile to my hearts content.
