Why did Yami quit building 2 strokes or did they just quit making them for the USA market?
I think poo is just sitting back waiting for some aftermarket engine builder to improve reliability and hp on their 800 and then copy their design.
I am not bashing poo I think they are giving us everything we have asked for and hopefully next will be a 160 hp engine and no more threads on here that start out with ( who has lost a skirt or 1200 miles and still running ).
Maybe they do need a 4 stroke mnt sled and than they could meet the EPA BS.

Our vmax hpdi 225 hp 2 stroke boat motor is unreal on fuel and has tons of power. Funny they dropped the 250 and 225 two strokes for SHO four strokes......

Same technology in a 160 hp 800 twin would be the tits.

Im sure polaris has something up their sleeve. The 800 cfi is now 6 years old.

Btw I'd love this, I hope we see this in a year or two in the Pro. Kawi makes great motors -- a Kawi DI 800 twin. Maybe even a DI triple 2 stroker, how's about that????!!!!

I'd have waaaaaay more faith in a Kawi plant in my Pro. Shoot, I'd trade today, lol.
