If you were buying an 2009 sled....

Well as of right now what would you snowecheck? I know alot of people on here are biased and thats NOT what I want.

I am looking for good reasons supporting your choice also. I guess its hard to say considering we dont know whats comming out for 09. But just base your decision off of the 08 models.

I will ask again at the end of the season and compare everyones answers.

Poo or Doo. Poo has great clutches and I hope the new 8 proves to be a potent and reliable settup. The Doo is light and has a strong, reliable engine, could use improvement in the clutching dept.
If I wasn't into boondocking and climbing as a priority I would have a hard time buying anything but a Yamaha....they are just such a high quality and reliable, if they ever get the weight way down they will be tough to pass up.

probably order a new x for 09--the grandson will get my 08.will stay with the 154 great lenght for my type of riding..really like the 08-awesome power and handleing..really would like to ride a 800 dragon for a couple hrs.

If the 08 Doo's have a great year I'd have a tough time passing up an '09. I'd look real hard for a used 08 first though.

Tough to give up the familiarity of Polaris though.

A 2009 800 146" Doo with Polaris clutches, Ryde AIR 2.0's... and a few other knick knacks.

I wouldn't consider buying a new 09. My 07 is everything I have ever prayed for and I simply flat out enjoy it. It would be hard to top it no matter what way I look at it.

09 sled choice

After a couple rides on the new XP(probabley 20 minutes total)

If Doo builds a XP w the 1000SDI in it--I Will be snochecking one!!

I love the feel of that factory big bore--Just needs the weight loss that the XP chassis will provide.
The bummer of my 1000RT is the weight--tires ya out by the end of the day--But the power is great.

Good luck on your choice. Like ya say--we will see agian at the end of the season.

If I was to buy today I don't know what I would buy. Just sticking with my 06 m7/800.
I am really hoping cat comes out with a new sled based off the new sno pro next year. If they do I will buy one. Not sure what engine size. Depends on weight.
Unless yamaha drops another 50lbs next year. Then I would buy one.
