You can pick up a new stator for a Doo for about $240 and a new flywheel for about $215.

AC 900 stator and flywheel are running a guy close to $500 EACh!!!

What gives?

I am sure that the 900 parts are more $$$ because the 900 was a fulie. With the EFI system being batteryless the stator must put out more juice for starting and the flywheel needs more magnets (rare earth prolly) to pruduce that extra juice.

Makes sense if you think about it.

Carbed or EFI...they are the same price.
