hahahahah, actually, i was taking a break and getting my house closer to passing inspection on monday. one last thing to do now and it's gonna have to wait until sunday...

back droolin now... :)

Come out and ride sat! Would be nice to meet ya. I mean, I assume I can tell ya to tag along. I dunno what Shane's plans are but I assume if you went out with him the other day he'd be fine with you going out on sat... We're planning on getting to his place around 10 and going from there... Then i think we're going to try to grab a room in town so we don't have to drive all night so plan on sticking around for dinner too if ya want!

Well, I'm still at home...but I'm sure you were having a good day today.
You'll have to post up when you get this.

- sore shoulders from hanging on....
- sore forearms from having to use throttle control again -I'd gotten where I mostly just wicked that poor little 8-hundy wide open half the time!!! Not ready to do THAT on the turbo!!
- sore cheeks from grinnin so much
- sore braidn from trying to figure out tuning!!

all in all, sucessful day!!!!

Killer day really. Shane is SUCH a cool guy and took a TON of his time to really explain things to me. You're right, the power is holy heck INSTANT!! never felt like those turbos people always talk about... i jsut felt like I was on my same ole sled with a CHIT TON more power!!! Conditions left a little but to be desired but we actually didn't get rained on so really I guess it coulda been worse! I rode like a SPODE, I'm sure Shane was wondering why in the heck I even want a turbo but he never said it!! ;) (Course my BF did!! hahahahhaah) naw, it's ok, I will learn it! Gives me something to look fwd to! I have some handling issues I need to adjust, she handles differently with all that power for sure! the heavy wet snow really wore me out too -and riding something new... I was spent after the 3 little hills he took us to!!

I'm SOOOOO Super stoked to adress my little issues, learn to ride it better, get a new track on it so I'm delivering even MORE power to the snow and then tear some CHIT UP!!!! ;)

SOOOOOO FUUUUUNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha, awesome!!!!

A couple of those things I mentioned in PMs...shot me another PM with your thoughts now that you have been boosted. ;)

Did you see the wreck site?

Hey Skadi, I enjoyed the little test we had on your sled. I didn't want to get too crazy on someone else's ride, but it was awesome. Loved it. Some different skiis may be a good idea but it sure does pick up in a hurry. Thanks for the fun. CR

Sounds like you had a great ride yesterday with Shane. He's a pretty meticulous tuner.

nope... i gotta hold down the day job during the week... BOOOORRRIIIINNNNGGGG.

Heading up to get some fine tuning on suspension by Allen tomorrow and then hittin the hills on sat and sunday!! hope to have an update on Monday!! (I bet you will be sitting in front of your computer biting your nails and waiting in anticipation for it... i know...) HAHAHAHAHAHA hopefully i'll get some good pics and if i can learn how to ride the thing I might even attack some chutes!!

Well, I took her up to Allen and holy HECK!!! night and day difference!!! She is a MACHINE to be reckoned with now for SURE! Still have a few things I need to deal with. Have to runthe track so tight she track binds to keep her from racheting... that stinks... plus the track really just can't stand up to the abuse this turbo is throwing at her!! Have my eye on a new camoplast and some avid drivers to adress that. the suspension? well, allen knew just what to do but said my tunnel wasn't strong enough as it was to handle it!! So, he fixed that too!! he made some nice looking backets/plates that rivit on and spread the load out and sitffen the tunnel right where the drop brackets come up... I know many of hte pros are having an issue buckling right there so he said he's going to go ahead and go into production with that. Might be something anyone with a turbo wants to look at too cause to get the skid to work right AND havetons of power thrown at it just puts SOOO much stress on that tunnel!!

Anyway, the sled handled like a dream, ripped around through the trees and then when I got into the big chutes I felt confident carrying speed through all the crap at the bottom and really going for it on some chutes i thought NO WAY IN HECK on when i looked at them from across the valley!!!

Sled ran great all day, i still have a LOT to learn about tuning but she was there for me every time i needed her even with my novice tuning! ;)

So the build progresses for sure; sled is RIPPING and I am having a BLAST on her.... Emailed my shooter to see if he can pull some stills for you all but we didn't have anyone taking stills this weekend so I have nothing to show for it until Shaun gets back to me with some stills from film!! You'll def have some good footage in Octane Productions film of this sled rippin around though!!!!!

Very cool.

I saw my Countour vid last night of that good wheelie that I posted above. HAHA. It turned out COOL from the riders' perspective.

OK, I finally made a video with my Contour. First clip that I messed with. First hemlet cam clip I've uploaded.

SWEET.

These two clips are the same run.
Pause the top one at 16 seconds and pause the bottom one at 4 seconds.

THEN CLICK PLAY on both of them as close together as possible...they'll run right on time with each other. LOL

Skiis??

Sweet ride! Really responsive from the sounds of it.

Notice you have Mods skiis on it. Did you ride the stock sled with them and how do you like them on your PRO?

Regards,

Rune

I was not a fan of the Mods skis on that set up. They really pushed bad in that soft warm snow.
