hey guys... I polished my tunnel in about 4.5 hours and it turned out great!
i used "autosol" and it worked great... did it all by hand with a damp rag and a dry rag.. heres some pics.. ad yours too and tell me what you used!

Start with 600grit sand paper then 1000grit, then power polish with medium polishm then finish with fine polish. About 6hrs.
Polish is a blend from a shine shop in cowtown.

Looks good. I would wet sand with 1000 and then 1500 next time to get rid of the scratches. I had quite a bit before I started.

Tunnel polishing is an addiction once you start. I plan on doing mine just in the summer when I'm out in the garage staring at my sled in the 100 degree weather. Here's what I ended up with. All mothers...all by hand with a microfiber cloth.

hey silvergriz that is one sweet sled!!! ya I think its time for me to peel off some stickers!! but im starting with changing the retarted bars from the u shaped ones to the krazy canadian flame ones...
 
HOw long does it stay shining like that?
Do you have to put something on top to keep it shining?
