i am looking at a rx1 with a mxcpress turbo how are these sleds for tuning is it set and forget or do i have to make manual ajustments for elevation and temp. any info would be great thanks

I run a Alpine front mount.I never jet I turn the key and go
would it be a stand alone efi system to ad fuel for boost or something like power jets? thanks for the info
I had an RX1 with an MCX turbo system on it. It was set and forget. It is also a carbureted sled that added fuel according to boost pressure.
I ran my turbo in Sept. when it was 90 degrees out at the grass drags and it had the same jets and setup that I run all winter. Summer was at 3200 ft and winter is at 8000 ft with no changes.

its a rear mount, im browsing for a new sled and trying to decide if that ti rx1 forsale would be better than a apex?
The old kit's dont compensate for altitude, you set it at you riding alt and just be carefull down low

You are right. They didn't compensate for altitude. That being said, I rode 1000-8500 all the time and other than running slightly lean down low my setup worked great. The 4 strokes are more tolerant than the the 2 strokes in that regard.
