I had the same issue with mine. Took it to my dealer, they said that the cap ws not croos threaded but they notice the seal inside the cap was not making complete contack with the bung. replaced the cap and my belt, cleaned it all up and sent me away happy. Has not leaked since.

When I checked the oil cap this morning it was on totally crooked.

So crooked, in fact, that I am surprised it threaded down and tightened up. But it did, so beware.

Take the thirty seconds to make sure it is straight and save yourself the hassle of cleaning up the oil when you roll it over.

On the plus side, hit 1,000 miles today. Rolled the sled twice and no oil leaks!

I may be getting off the short bus soon....

We use to make UHMW Collars to stiffen up the REV Oil Bottle, and make thicker gaskets for the cap.

Glad to see it not a PRO Common Issue.

i have about 600 miles of abuse on my assualt and i haven't had any issues.... and it spends alot of time in awkward up side down positions.
