I heard the staples used in making the box were prone to bending, letting the parts fall back out :(

The staples are covered under warranty, just take the box to the dealer and have them welded up. You can replace them with stronger ones but they are all back ordered until summer of 2010. Gotta wait till all staples fail and the parts fall out before they will fix the known defective staples though. Its just the BRP way!

I am a Heron. I have a long neck and I pick fish out of the water with my beak. If you don't re-post this comment on 10 other pages I will fly into your room tonight and make a mess of your dvds and computer equipment.

SLICK is a pecker. And no, I didn't forget the word WOOD in front of that. I wonder how the Virago ran? Hopefully he picked up 30-40 new black t-shirts, a new tattoo, some girl named Lacy, and VD:eek:. Hurry home SLICK, we need an update!

when the throttle on a brand new sled sticks wide open and destroys itself, and ski-doo won't honor their warranty, i call that a f### job....so yeah, the description fits....and by the way, ski-doo, if you're going to stiff arm me at the border, don't sell sleds in the usa

thats a bold statement.... i agree that it aint right that your throtle stuck wide open.. cause then you would have 50 guys a year coming in the throttle stuck wide open when they tag a tree.... where can skidoo draw the line to many honest and a lot not so much....

Wow!

Quite the thread about nothing! We need it to snow soon so you clowns don't kill one another.

Yes, the XP had a few problems, but what new car, sled, boat, truck doesn't? I had a couple belts blow. I had to get the sled regeared & yes I had to do some work to get more air into the intake, but now it's an amazing sled! I will meet anyone with a factory stock sled on the mountain and let you take it for a ride to prove it. It's a rush to ride and I assure you, you will run out and buy one too after riding one.

Don't bash something you've never rode!

Not if they had junk stock clutching. :)

so was it the clutching that made it way harder to sidehill than my d8? Now I'm really confused. No really, I think they work pretty good in the right hands but i really don't care for riding them, so I doubt the statement "if you ride one you will want to buy one" or whatever it was holds much truth.....to each his own

No need to add humor to the justification above!
