I heard the staples used in making the box were prone to bending, letting the parts fall back out

The staples are covered under warranty, just take the box to the dealer and have them welded up. You can replace them with stronger ones but they are all back ordered until summer of 2010. Gotta wait till all staples fail and the parts fall out before they will fix the known defective staples though. Its just the BRP way!

Yes, the XP had a few problems, but what new car, sled, boat, truck doesn't? I had a couple belts blow. I had to get the sled regeared & yes I had to do some work to get more air into the intake, but now it's an amazing sled! I will meet anyone with a factory stock sled on the mountain and let you take it for a ride to prove it. It's a rush to ride and I assure you, you will run out and buy one too after riding one.

No really, I think they work pretty good in the right hands but i really don't care for riding them, so I doubt the statement "if you ride one you will want to buy one" or whatever it was holds much truth.....to each his own
