I gotta TV question.....

Sometimes the commercials are louder than the program you are watching.
This seems to be getting more common.....and very annoying.
Is there a device one can install to counter this volume increase?
I thought I remembered seeing one at one time.

it's called a hearing aid. when you get that old you are only really hearing what you want too.

The Mute button works great for me.

Sony had it at one time.... was an autimatic volume adjustment that kept the sound the same all the time. I remember the addy'd it using the loud comercial thing.

Don't know if they still have it, or if somebody else has adopted the idea.

i noticed fx channel will get quieter and then loud even during the show sort of pisses you off where you dont want to watch it and then during the commercials it's so loud the neighbors half mile away can hear it

The last time I watched MTV, History Channel, or the Discovery Channels I think I got about 25 minuets of TV and the rest was al commercials on an hour long show? I don’t watch Tv much but anymore all I watch are movies and I try to catch southpark every now and again!
