You just did the best thing you could ever do for that little girl, your daughter now. (Except maybe kick the chit out of some potential boyfriends, but looks like that's a ways away.)
Both of our boys are adopted. Oldest one, 6 now, was a preemie, teenage mom, turned down twice for adoption.
Younger one, 3 now, his mom was a 40 year old crackhead who thankfully ahd enough sense to give him up (after abandoning her other 2 high school age girls to be with another crackhead
).
