How to get unstuck

As I ride a TON of fun.... I bought a jack within the frist couple of weeks. Best (Easyest) way for a big stuck. First thing I did was toss the stock base they come with and drilled a hole in my shovel and use it for the base. Works awesome and saves weight. only down side might be needing the shovel and its 2 feet down in the snow under the jack :confused:.... so far that has not happened. Much less work than digging and as I ride alone at times I can get out of most anything. :beer;:beer;

Step 1: Buy your buddies drinks at the bar and/or buy their sled's gas
Step 2: Sit back and relax:D

Seriously though, I've found just to just roll the sled over once whenever I can. That or just pull the front end over 90* and get someone to give the skis a tug while I walk it out.

I usually roll my sled over slowly and make sure that after one roll it will be on its skis facing downhill then i bale on and a little bit of WOT and your out.

Im lazy and have no windshield i know. Obviously in some places a guy has to pull the shovel out.

The only time I ever see a helicopter being used to get sleds unstuck is when they say Yamaha on the hood and or have a turbo. If you want evidence, just watch the big dawg shoot out vids and you will see.

Personally, I can’t blame them, it’s probably easier to get a Volkswagen unstuck then a Yamaha.

Wow, you really must be something in person. Your only rebuttle to my obvious substantiated neg rep I gave you (which I signed my name to) is for you to return the favor with negative rep just "because pay back is a biotch", as you said. Gimme a few more, please?

Did you even see what I was trying to tell you??? Prolly not....

Add another vote for the highlift jacks. They make quick and painless work out of an otherwise bad stick.

Don't even worry about getting it unstuck. Just leave it hanging in the tree and call it a Christmas ornament.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

Oh, as far as the deep snow stucks, ride with big friends and buy them beer at the end of the day.

I like the ornament, that's a classic.

A word of caution for those with fuel injected sleds. Sure they can run upside down, but that doesn't mean you should leave it running when you roll it to get unstuck. Let me explain, but first hold my sign, I don't want to lose it:D:D
I was watching as my friend was trying to get his sled rolled over out of a big hole he created, and decided to help him out. Now we do this all the time, just roll the thing over and go on about your business. So I climb up to his sled, but the sled won't roll out of the hole. His sled was completely upside down at this point, and we couldn't get it to roll out. Being blessed with the brains that I got, I decided to hop on top of the track to get more leverage, (remember the sled was completely upsidedown) We started the final countdown, Three, two, one...All I remember after that was the roar of the engine at W.O.T. and a feeling of complete weightlessness. It launched me thirty feet down the mountain! As I looked up I could see my friend frantically trying to locate the kill switch to get it to stop. It's like a machine, or something:D:D
Needless to say, we finally got it out, but then had to replace the belt, as it didn't seem to like that whole ordeal:eek:
Now somebody.....GIMME MY SIGN BACK!!

best story ever!

Why would you be by yourself? You would have to be a moron or need better freinds. I also hate the guy who wanders off by himself away from the group. Nothing worse than wasting a good day looking for someone who is stuck 1/4 mile away in the trees. Always ride in pairs at the least. As for stuck # 2, stay out of the chutes and don't worry about it.
