Watch out, your question may generate some unexpected responses.

I am proud of what a good sport you have been. I think it is fair to say, You did'nt know what you were getting into.

Enjoy the sport and take the good with the bad in this thread.

OK seriously then. There are two kinds of wheelie - horsepower wheelies and suspension wheelies. If you loosen your limiter straps or take them off, you can stab the front of the rails through the track - not cool, you will not have a sled to ride. Keep them tight. When you are transferring forward momentum to upward movement by making your sled wheelie, you are losing forward thrust. Keep your skis on the ground, and beat your buddies azz in every drag race you have. wow, he can wheelie into last place...... A wheelie prone sled is fun if it can horsepower wheelie, which means the suspension is set up for typical riding but it still has the power to wrench the skis off the ground at any given point, but it is still rideable. If you set up your sleds suspension to make it wheelie becuz you can't horsepower wheelie, it will be fun to ride for about 5 mins before you get to the first corner, then you will be fighting it all day. It will not make you have more fun, you will be out of control half the time becuz you will be trying to steer the sled with no ski pressure. If you're riding around the back field and your buddy can suspension wheelie for 20 feet, you shouldn't be impressed. Tell him to come on here and see real sleds that can "wheelie".

I'm sorry I just thought it was funny what your signature said, and then you ask a question like that. :)

Just find some drifts to hit and at the top of the drift, lean back and hold the throttle wide open, until your skis come back down. I have an 800 REV and that's what I do if I want to catwalk. I Usually don't go too far but its fun while it lasts. I know I need more power but I just don't have the money to buy that power. Just don't compromise your ride just becuse you want to wheelie a bit.

Dont you ever watch drag racing?? drive it onto the road, have your buddy hold the back of your sled up just a little bit, do a big smokey burnout,
and then you should have enough traction on the snow, becareful you dont flip it backwards, those 340s where known for their insane torque:D
