I have had some clutching issues and all the recalls, the sled flat out rips. The clutches get super hot but seem to work well, no actual blown belts but had one replaced under warranty. My dealer, Tom's has been great in getting my sled going well.
I did fall off in the deep powder and my sled rolled slowly head on into a 3 inch "tree" and the bumper collapsed, kind of a drag to replace but that was really my fault. It's a weak bumper, I couldn't believe how light it was when I put the new one on, I think it's made out of recycled alluminum foil. RMK's are definately more durable in my opinion, but don't quite rip as well as the Doo. I have had 3 RMK's and 3 Doo's a 2004, 2007 and 2008. The 2007 had heaps of problems and got the engine replaced under warranty.
