how do i get involved with saws or snowmobile associations in washington?

Lightning,
Click on the Saws link at the bottom of this post. That will take you to thier site and you can start there.
WSSA is the Washington snowmobile site. You can google WSSA.
Both of those sites can link you to other places to get info/involved.
Thanks for stepping forward!

Modsledr....... I'm pretty sure most of us know that Dave does way more than organize pick-up parties, etc., including me. So quit trying to twist my words.
I've attempted to post my point of view. I believe I haven't attacked anyone or any organization. And I still stand behind my reasoning. I'm done, now, with the exception of:

I appologize if I gave off any negativity towards the groups/ people who support our sport. I would never do that intentionally. In my opinion, we may not all agree with how we make positive changes in our sport, but as long as a person contributes in some way and doesn't do the negative things, we are all on the same team.
Have a safe and enjoyable rest of the season.

Fly, Not trying to twist your words, just quoting your post.

The point I was making is that there are hardcore, dedicated people who spend significant amounts of their time WITHOUT PAY to help ensure our sport does not die, and that those efforts should not be minimized.

I agree with you that many fights have been lost in the past. The reason they were lost is due to funding. They had deeper pockets and better/more attorneys/lobbyists that those who wanted to keep the land open.

There seems to be a lot of people who think that they are doing their part in their own way and refuse to donate money to fight the cause, but the bottom line comes down to money...always has and alway will...Golden Rule "those with the gold, make the rules".

If you think hiring the best attorneys to represent our cause is a waste of money, then I urge you to do some research and learn how land gets closed. It is ALL legal action. Lawsuits, bills, laws, etc...
