How much does a stock 1100T HCR 162 weigh?

I'm surprised the Nytro is lighter. Chris Brown's Turbo Nytro sled has to be 60-70lbs lighter than stock. The Skinz front end transforms that sled, really handles nice. I REALLY felt the gyro effect off the engine though. Does the 1100T have that same feeling? I noticed as the revs went up it didn't want to change position side to side quickly.

The balance of the nitro, because of how the weight is positioned, really makes it hard for someone to get used to. I couldn't do it myself. The higher position of the motor is the "gyro" factor IMO. The m1100 feels nothing like this for sure. With the 38" stance now I rarely find myself going board to board in normal snow conditions. Very easy to maneuver considering the weight difference to an m8.

Justboostit could you lay out a list of weight saving stuff you sell? What they cost and how much weight is saved. If a guy was willing to spend 8-9-10 grand on this sled how light could you get it? Not saying I am that guy but you never know...

Light as a feather thread .....

MM you dont think you are that guy....but you could be lol. We have 3 cf builds booked for the summer already and one that is going overseas. Lightweight fever has hit!

I gotta put this somewhere easier to find for myself...

As for weight saving there are several posts about loss by WKR with the carbon fiber on our m8 and the 1100 we did that is 610 rtr. The 1100 is a tank, tunnel, seat, and a belt drive away from roughly 100lbs.

-10 lbs for battery $250, battery relocate 1lb free
-16lbs for exhaust $200
-18lbs for carbon hood/cold air intake $1500
-5lbs for seat $500
50lbs....$2500
-15lbs for carbon tank $1800
-12lbs for belt drive $1500 (these are both guesses, bag to build)
77lbs....$5800
-12lbs for carbon tunnel $3500
-15lbs for carbon skid $4000
-5-7lbs for front suspension $1000
110lbs....$14k

You're gonna have to really want that last 30-35lbs, it's 60% of the cost of 100lb loss. Other odds and ends like vented side panels, skis, 4 boogie wheels, etc is a couple more lbs. I will stop at the belt drive which would be around $6000 for 75-80lbs. Do an Evo Big Chute 280 kit and pretty great sled for little more than 8k in trinkets without labour if you are handy. For a touch more you'll be big dogging in 300hp land.

Thanks. Looks like there is definitely a sweet spot for weight loss. Have you guys thought about doing a ti bolt kit. I think it would be good for $100 a pound and you could lose 5-7lbs on this sled. Just takes a bit of time to catalog all the bolts and find a good place to order them.
