How many XP owners

Belt like the energizer.

I now have 6 steep and deep rides with my 2.5 inch * 162 track. My first 3 rides before changing/moving front left motor mount to right and installing 1 inch shorter belt resulted in a belt per ride.

The last 6 rides of hard use same belt. I observed the motor at IDLE and felt the shaking was related to soft motor mounts. Hence I moved it to compensate for under load conditions.

Reading much sucess from gearing down makes me think maybe the shorter belt has done similar.

The 2.5 inch track may hook and load the motor more causing more torque on motor mounts.

Anyway let me say after 30 years of riding 46 years old now this is the best stock snowmobile I have ever owned. I started as a kid on a ski doo elan and rode mod Polaris for many years. My 04 rev rkt has been a good sled but just love the way this new xp handles. It is in my opinion as big of jump to rev as original rev was to the market. If all remember Doo started rider forward and now have added to that.

Yeah like someone said you must be willing to do some tinkering but the platform here on the xp is incredible. Will do the 860 kit next year from rkt.

NICE WORK DOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I hope they fix it for you, because you might actually enjoy this sled. It's a blast when there running good, so I really do hope they get you taken care of. If they do, let your buddy Graveler take it for a spin, so he'll come pick me up and take me to his island. :beer;

okay, local dealer, Mac's Cycle in Clarkston, WA... they took measurements off another XP that was not having problems and made adjustments on my sled... move engine over 1/8. So how did the testing go? W O W! Found the steepest hill and purposely in and out of the throttle while climbing... only problem with the belt not slipping it now stands on end (I like this problem), over and over again... no belt threads.. clutch got hot but I could lay my hand on the primary 3-4 seconds... about normal. belt is a 166, standard spring, clicker 3, pin weight 6g, gearing 21/45. Belt, gearing changes and everything else...warranty... and the handwarmers worked and the 20 mile test didn't drink a gallon of oil... as many of you have said and now I do now..."Can't wait for this weekend to go ride!"
