cool sled

killer sled, no belt problems, but sure do have cold hands. But at least my thumb still sweats. After this last trip, absolutely would not trade, unless skidoo is nice enough to put a bigger motor in the 09's:eek::beer;

It's nice to see that our group's not the only ones smilen after we get done riding. If you guys are having problems bogging in the deep stuff, I recomend putting some holes in your airbox.

are happy with there sled? I'm at the point where I almost can't wait for the weekend to go ride. I've never ridden a sled that is so much fun in the trees and get's up on top of the powder so easy. Other than the hand warmer issues, I couldn't be happier. Anybody that doesn't own one, please don't reply! We've all heard your complaints from your buddy's sled you've seen.

your right, I hired all these people to say how much they love there sled. It's obvious you don't own one, and I can tell you didn't read the post, or your just too stupid to understand what it said. IF YOU DON'T OWN ONE, DON'T BOTHER REPLYING. Jezuz, how hard is it to understand that one line. Don't you have some where else to troll anyways? Were happy with our sleds, so get over it.

by far the best sled I have ever been on.... 154x... blew first belt at 130 miles... geared down and added weight, have over 300 miles now with most of it in deep pow and no problems now... the sled is so easy to through around and it flys through the air really nice:beer; all in all couldn't be happier!! GO RIDE!!!

I am sending the plane to pick you up, the Island is nearly full

Has anyone had issues with Ice buildup in the tunnel falling in and jamming the driveshaft. I had it happen three times in two days at low speed it stopped the sled dead. Had to reverse and back the ice berg out. One of the ice blocks seemed as large as a cinder block. That can't be good for the drive shaft? I am now afraid if I am climbing something serious I will have the same issue at just the wrong moment??

Anyone?

I have ice build up while trail riding(154x16 XPX). After riding for a while the build up will cause vibration as track comes up and hits and grinds away ice build up. Had to stop once to clear the buildup.

The hand grip heaters went out after 30 miles. Have 300 miles trouble free miles now, no belt issues. Every thing is stock. Do not like the oils usage however. Had the dealer check and they said oil cable was per spec. All my miles have been at sea level. Have a Colorado mountain trip planned for end of January. Will see then if belt holds up.

Thanks Graveler, I've always wanted to see where you and the rest of your keyboard junkie friends live. I can only visit you for a few hours, because there's way too much powder here to play in.

I just want to now why Graveler has been spending so much time in the Doo section? Hmmm....

Either he's jealous of the XP, and needs to bash them to raise his ego, or he just doesn't own a sled, and has nothing better to do besides hang out in the Skidoo section & piss people off with his worthless opinion that nobody cares about. :D

Mystery solved Tattoo, LMAO

lot of potential Doo buyers eyeballing these threads!:p not a lot of other sled owner's loving their new rides like the Doo crowd!::(
if it were'nt for all the little sled quirks..the Doo threads would wise exponentially!!:beer;:D

Yes this is the best/funest sled I have owned so far and I still have my 04 and 07 800's for backup ( don’t trust BRP after last year) . I love the power it has and the easy you can throw it around. In the trees it floats amazingly and it can turn so tight you can go into the thickest trees. Hill climbing is awesome and it will way out climb my 04 or 07 and you can wait untill the last second and still crank it around easily. My dealer hasn’t yet done the grips or clutch so I am still going through belts and have cold hands but it good to hear the clutch updates seem to be working.:)

What clutch updates? 154?

You hit the nail on the head.... He doesn't own a sled!!!

Anybody got a spare belt??

I have a 163 xpx and absolutly love it! You guys are right. I get home and want to go riding again, cant get enough of this thing!

Over revved at first so I added just shy of 4 grams to the primary, Quick Clickers (Work $hit slick!!!),clutch vents, and a can. No problems at all, NOTHING!

I cant believe how good on fuel this thing is!!! Almost twice as good as my old relic, the 900 king cat!

Love it! But it is funny how jelous people are of this thing. Everyone who rides mine tries to find somthing bad about it but, they come out sounding like morons because all people say is the xp's blow belts. Thats the only thing they can find bad about the xp, and to be honest, the only people who i've heard blow belts, are on here.

The only problem I have with this thing is everytime I stop to get fuel, or on the hill, someone always comes up to talk about it! People are very interested in what it is, does, and how it works! Usually good for 15 minutes or so but now i'm always late. This does not happen with the other brands so maybe I wil buy a POO to avoid this problem..................Maybe not!

You can really tell the popularity of the xp also. My area skidoo dealer sold over 60 xp's, and The POO dealer sold 1 or 2 Dragon 8's. (if thay made more maybe more would get sold) But the doo's dominate the hill for numbers!

Like i said before, I love it!!!

Chaz :D

It is the best handling sled I have ever been on. Powder, Cliff drops, super stable in the air, incredible on the trail what can I say! I love mine! I rode a 08 M8 sno pro today and laughed for 5 min. Compared to my xp I thought the m8 would be well suited for a boat anchor. They aren't even close enough to compare. Enough kitty bashing sorry. Anyway back to the xp. It took me a day or two to get used to the difference between the rev and the xp. Now I am soooo sold on the xp chassis. Best Mt. sled ever made! Way to go Doo!!! I take that back, get my handwarmers working then you get a Way to go!!!
