How many XP owners

are happy with there sled? I'm at the point where I almost can't wait for the weekend to go ride. I've never ridden a sled that is so much fun in the trees and get's up on top of the powder so easy. Other than the hand warmer issues, I couldn't be happier. Anybody that doesn't own one, please don't reply! We've all heard your complaints from your buddy's sled you've seen.

great sled--no complaints.:D200 miles on the new motor and running great.:).no belt problems since adding pin weight.funnest sled i've ever ridden for sure:beer;

570 miles on mine, very happy with it, easy to throw around and you can really feel the lighter weight in palces. I can wait to the very last second before it gets stuck and just whip it around. Much better out of the box than last years and we had them running good after awhile

I love mine, I wouldn't of bought anything else if I was doing it over again.

I'm thinkin the reason there gonna be so expensive, is because were going to have to start taking off work once a week to satisfy our urge to ride. 1 day salary a week for 6 months might add up.

awsome sled, anybody want to put some km's on with me in Fernie on New Years Day? This sled is worth not sleeping in even after a New Years party!

Great sleds. I have a 154" and a 146"X and they are the most fun sleds to powder ride I have ever been on. Other than a few minor bugs like the handwarmers and the air filter plugging Ski Doo hit a home run.

280 miles no problems (other then hand warmers) love this sled!!!!!
keep belt adjusted, no ploblems here.

Our dealer here in N. Utah had just under 200 sleds and just a hand full
of belt problems and a drive shaft (700 miles)

Yes this is the best/funest sled I have owned so far and I still have my 04 and 07 800's for backup ( don’t trust BRP after last year) . I love the power it has and the easy you can throw it around. In the trees it floats amazingly and it can turn so tight you can go into the thickest trees. Hill climbing is awesome and it will way out climb my 04 or 07 and you can wait untill the last second and still crank it around easily. My dealer hasn’t yet done the grips or clutch so I am still going through belts and have cold hands but it good to hear the clutch updates seem to be working.:)

Definitely the best sled I have ever been on. Now have 170 miles on it after two weekends of nothin but deep Snowy powder. Power is excellent and the way it handles has made me a much better rider. Not one hiccup. No vents, no gear changes, nothing, (knock on wood) just dealer set up, and I did clean the clutches and break the belt in. Everyone I have ridden with now wants one. Even had to pull my brothers 02 800 Pol "tank" out for about 30 miles in nasty conditions and the XP handled it like a champ. I am not a physical rider, especially upper body wise. It takes a lot for me to get a sled in its side and hold it there. But this sled comes over with very little effort and I can hold it there as long as I have room to keep going up and up. Haven't even unhooked the sway bar yet.

The only bad thing I could think to say about it is: It is the coldest sled i have ever been on flying down the trails. Brrrrr, no protection at all, but thats ok, since we only ride about 5 miles of trail anyway.

I honestly couldn't be happier with it. Just sucks I have to wait for two weeks in between trips to get back on it.

So far I absolute love it. I just broke over 100 miles yesterday. The only thing that I have noticed is the handwarmers are hit and miss, but this thing just loves the pow. Belt still looks like new.

And the power...all I can say is you better be hanging on between 7200-8200 RPM's because it pulls hard.

I have a 08 154 X. I love the pulling power. The hand warmers will be resolved . I had to add weight to the clutch arms due to over reving other than that the sled is the best sled I have ever owned.

My sled is awesome, rode 5-feet of powder yesterday, and only got stuck twice. First time I tried to climb something I shouldn't have, and the second time I slid off the trail into a hole. The snow was the deepest I ever rode in, most of the time I couldn't even see when I hit a bump, dip, or while turning because I was under the snow. One of the guys with us had to stand on his seat while riding, Over 300-miles on the sled it and I'm on my second belt. First belt (166) started to fray at 93-miles. Handwarmers are dead, kill switch is dead, and the intake screen keeps getting clogged when in the deep stuff, which I knew was going to happen before I even got my new sled. Once BRP gets the clutch, handwarmers, and other minor things fixed, I will honestly say this will be the best sled ever!!!

same as the rest love it handles great and like the rest left hand warmer NFG gotta wait till dealer opens jan 2 to see if there is replacements in yet but definently recomend to others i have a 154X:beer;

Ditto!!!

I cannot believe how awesome this sled is. I am having the same issues as everyone else, but would not trade for another sled. I believe someone earlier this year said "the people who have the most problems/complaints with an XP have yet to own one."
I ride with 4 other XP's and none of us are willing to trade for another sled.

Same here, love my 163. Eats up deep pow like no other and the sled handles like a dream. I still have some clutching to do but it's not real far off. Handwarmers went on last ride but they are being fixed later in the week. NO BELT PROBLEMS with mine.
Rode with 4 other XPs Saturday, 3 had some clutching done that seemed to be in the right direction, the XP's were dominant on the way in breaking trail in steep terrain, in 3 to 5 feet of powder. We cruised by about 15 guys stuck trying to get to the top on other (brand X) sleds older and current year models. There seemed to be a large difference in deep snow capability.... I was honestly surprised in the difference but I'm sure glad I bought an XP this year!:D

I have 200 miles on my XP and love it, ...now. Feels like I have 2000 on it. Had been stringing out belts every 30 miles for the first 150, wouldn't even get near full throttle. After a gearing change, primary spring and pin weight I can hold it wide open forever with no problems. Local SKI-DOO dealer was pretty good, giving me belts untill the problem was fixed. Climbs great, good suspension, balance and handling is perfect. So far the drive shaft and hand warmers are holding up. Front end seems to be strong too. I have hit rocks, trees and concrete snow drifts up to about 15 mph and flew over the bars. I hope it keeps treating me well. I bought it to pull the rope and ride. I'v done the mod thing before with next to no grief but I don't even want to pull a side pannel anymore. It was the last 50 miles on this sled that made me change my mind other wise this thread could have been totally different.
