demo 250 hit it on the head we think if a sled gets 4000 miles they are good motors that is about 200 hrs if we got 200 hrs on any other motor we would freak.

Comparing cars to sleds isn't a very fair comparison. While I agree (as the owner of a D8, that has not left me stranded anywhere, yet) that sleds should be more reliable that the poo 800 has been, and that reliability is a crap shoot sometimes, just think of the power to weight ratio... a 3000 lb car should have about 1000 HP and be able to climb 10000' peaks nearly vertically with wide-open throttle and still last 200K miles? Give me one of those cars... :face-icon-small-win

Sledhead is closer to correct than you might think, not defending anyone hear as they should be more reliable, but common sense says it's my fault for not buying a 600 and forcing the man to make high hp 800, then epa. Just a few short years ago if you could run a mod motor of 140 hp and have it last 20 laps you were the chit in the sled racing world now we bitch cuz stock is only 150 hp, u want problems buy an outboard, jet ski ect, is everyone doing a good job summerizing? an old honda 300 fourtrax will outlast the rubicon cus it has no hp and no suspension so nothing to break but we don't want that we chose the speed and handling, anyway sure hope they all last forever.
