No fluke. And no way am I paying 2 g's a month. And this is over wireless for my laptop.Maybe I should go hard wire it.
Hard wire won't be any faster, more than likely. Wireless transfer speeds are already faster than the majority of internet connection speeds. The only reason they keep making wireless faster is for LAN connections.
LAN=Local Area Network (the computers that are in your house or in your building (on site).
That's all you get outta the Grant fiber? Most of the speedtests I see out there are running 45Mb x 45Mb. and that's on the slow end.

2 meg down is a waste of money? It really depends what you are using it for right? Time is money after all. I would be more worried about and ISP throttling you after a certain point.

Yep think about it. Whatever server you downlaod from you are going to use up as much as their bandwidth as they allow. Now jus think if 100 people are downloading something from them all at the same time with a 15meg connection. There pipe would have to be huge, so most servers are setup when you actually do not get what your internet is capable with becuase they limit how much the will "give" you. If the let everyone download wide open from them it would bog there server down. So you see the speeds on a speed test but when you go to download from a server I would bet 90% of servers are not going to give you that speed.
