How far do YOU go to ride?

when i was young we drove around 8 hours to ride throught out saskatchewan and manitoba but for the mtns its 3 hours to kings hill, 6 hours to Crowsnest Pass. usually 2 day trips. last winter went to the pass everyother weekend. leave friday around supper and leave sunday afternoon. hardly ever snows at home i maybe ride around here for 1 week out of the winter.

should come up to skyland with us one of these trips, we ride there regularly with some guys from cardston, lethbridge and they love it;)

i can ride from my house if the road is snow covered and theres gas in the sleds....

at school im a solid 135 miles from cooke.... 90 from west... and 50 from a place that doesnt get as much snow as revy, but holy crap, its got chutes!

I'm curious how far you guys travel to get to the mountains. I Personally drive 7hours to black hills or probably 10hours to the big horns.

I'm thinking i have one of the longer commutes to get my snow fix, but Post your travel times and we shall see

I guess technically the farthest I've ever gone to ride was 1100 miles ... Lubbock TX to Cooke City MT ....

That was spring break 2006 when I was at Texas Tech in college still :)

Since then I've moved back up to the rockies so I typically make 2-3 6-ish hour trips per season but routinley 3-4 hour trips ...

If we have enough snow around Vernal, 30 minute trips.

From South Carolina

Two days ~27 hours one way to either Rabbit Ears or Snowies. I try to make two trips out west each year. Its by far my favorite outside activity and wish I could move out there. Like most people, work keeps me where I am.:(

lets see.. up at 3 am florida time, on a plane at 6am e.s.t. arrive in mt at 1pm or so, drive another hour and a half.. by then im like the walking dead so, cant sled till the next day..

I ride right from my door at my cabin near Lake Cle Elum. Pretty much ride everything north of the I-90.

My home is now 15 miles east of Lake Cle Elum. From there, I ride from door door and hit everything on the south side of the I-90. Can go a long ways from either.......
