How far do YOU go to ride?

when i was young we drove around 8 hours to ride throught out saskatchewan and manitoba but for the mtns its 3 hours to kings hill, 6 hours to Crowsnest Pass. usually 2 day trips. last winter went to the pass everyother weekend. leave friday around supper and leave sunday afternoon. hardly ever snows at home i maybe ride around here for 1 week out of the winter.

South Texas is a long way from any snow period. Normally I take about 16 hours to get to my riding spots in southern Colorado. It sucks but when you want to play, you've got to pay.

I have to drive one way to Cooke that takes about 23-25 hrs. Not bad for a snowaholic. But it is way worth the drive IMO. Leave in the morning and arrive in the morning. Usualy I am so jacked up that we guick unload and ride asap. Gotta love it. One round trip per oil change! It suck's when gas was $3.50-4.00 a gallon. But hey, you only live once!

You gotta stop listening to the damn 20 on 20 then. Try channel 41 or 48.

How much fun would that be? I am a bigtime channel surfer but it seems every trip has some sort of top 40 track we listen to every time it comes on. :)

Can't wait for this year! We're thinking of hitting the west 3 times this year depending on conditions and where we have to go.

4.5 hours to Revy, 2.5 hours to Fernie or the CNP, and about 11 from Cooke/ Island Park.
not too bad looking at some of the guys travel times on here

On most trips I can usually put as many miles in a day of riding on my sled as I have on the truck to get there. :D

AJ, I though Mt Harrsion was only about 9500'. :p

Here in Michigan, leave our sleds up north 3 hours away,, 3.3 average months a year to ride, averaging 250-300 miles in 2.5days every weekend I can... best times are then.. wmrwrs222

10 hours from Manilla, IA to Snowy Range. we go there one time a year and make stop 3 times on trip for fuel and food
