House Guest That Don't Leave

We are thinking it could be sick even though we have many moose in the neighborhood.. We'll give it a few more days and than notify G&F.

I got 3 living in my pasture right now. Bull, cow and a calf. Kinda nice to see em and stuff and my girls get a kick out of them but man they're hard on my fence. I got wire down all over the place. That and when they get close to the yard at night the dig friggin barks all night!

I have had a swamp donkey at my lake property all winter so far.

He can stay as long as he doesn't eat my trees that I planted.

I have a beaver family that moved in. I had planned to built a berm to make a lake but the little 40lb guy did it for me. He did it with trees and mud. Took him 4 months but I saved the fuel in my excavator. Amazing little buggers.

I think so too!

I still get mad when I think about the video from last year of that peckerhead shooting the moose from his snowmobile.

What a miserable loser!:face-icon-small-fro

I hate that video more of a guy following a moose on snowmobile as it tried to run away.

Not as bad as my house guess that came and stayed 14 years ago after I said "I do". I heard a comedian on the radio say that marriage would be great if the wife didn't move in with you.

Had a bunch of wild turkeys in our yard since summer. Had anywhere from 6 to 15 of 'em scratchin and sh%!in' all over the place (including the porch rail!). Been as many as 30 in the pasture across the road. Ever since the wife "adopted" one hen-pecked bullied female and named her "Sweet Pea" they won't leave...

One of the frickin things is so stoopid it won't fly up over the fence to get out of the yard. The rest will leave it behind and it runs back and forth along the fence and won't run out through an open gate for the rest of the afternoon. We used to have a bird feeder for the songbirds hanging off the porch roof over the porch rail until they figured out how to roost on the rail and empty the feeder. If we didn't have so many neighbors.....

Not for the moose silly, the turkey!:face-icon-small-blu

Well, that sounds a bit more manageable....and delicious.

Critters can be a double edged sword.
I set food out for the rabbits because we just like having them around.
Yeah, they are hell on our trees, but I am fine with that, their presence is a fair trade off.

My neighbor, who is a good buddy also, shoots them.
Neither one of us are wrong.

I like pistachios. What I like to do is take all the pistachios that you cannot open up and put them in big bowl. When you get a guest that comes over that you do not like. You bring out that special bowl of pistachios that are impossible to open up.
