Horny Dragon spoted in the Trinitys

Horny Dragon spotted in the Trinitys

Tried to mate with a M8 ! ha ha

Had a great day in the Trinity's Saturday.
Helped with one of the worst stucks I have been involved with in a long time.
One of the guys in our crew THOUGHT he had one last climb in him on his M8. A little more than half way up "Hot Dog Hill" he started to loose speed and turned out above a clump of trees. He let off the gas and rolled right into the middle of them. We below couldn't see the impact but by the ways the trees shook we new he hit hard. I jumped on my sled and ripped up the hill to see if he was ok. He rolled down into the middle of the trees. He gave me a high sign and motioned he was ok. I saw him taking off his back pack and getting his shovel out on my next pass up. I tried and tried to stick it somewhere close to him to help but the hill was way to steep. I even tried coming down the hill in reverse and burping the throttle hard trying to trench in. Didn't work. I decided the only way to get to him was to walk down from the top.
200 yards and 800' vert !! On my way down a few other guys were having their go at trying to stick it some where close. Here came a guy on a new Dragon...turned out above him too slow and LOST IT. Two quick rolls and landed right on top of the M8. Smashed'em good. Luckily no damage to body or sled !! Almost two hours later we got them down safely with ropes,saws and big shelves dug into the hillside. I couldn't walk back up so I walked down and a crazy mo fo on a full mod Carls 910cc wanted to take me back up double. I was game but scared half ****less after watching this guy ride for the last half hour. He told me where he planed on going up and I thought " Ill just bail when it gets ugly" There were many easier ways but I thought "what the hell,lets put on another good show". We did and I GUARANTEE ! It was scarier / more fun ! than anything you can ride at any amusement park. ( He's the guy in the blue flamed sled) I don't think my heart rate has EVER been so high ! Now I know how my kids feel when they ride with ME ! ha ha. Had a few good stucks myself :). Great day !

I rode double on a 910 up a hill. The next year I went and bought a 910! STill have it in a new chassis. Finally going to go ride it this weekend!!!!!!!

Nice story and pics:beer;

MAN!!! You Idaho boys are... like, the "Blue Angels" of snowmobiling!:D:beer; Never seen a sled move in so many different directions. Down here in Nevada all they do is move around on their tracks. Haha (ok, you know im lying, right?) This is why i LOVE this sport!!!

Ya, plenty of snow at elevation. Uncovered a couple rocks on the lips, but it was pretty great. Good group of guys we ran into up there. Very good with shovels. Thanks whoever the heck you were.
