Just want to show my home-built seat to my KK.

What do you guys think?

I have a forward mounted steering post so my arms are not enough to sit further back ...

Doesn't look as narrow as I think I woulda done. My seat across the top is about 8" and tapers down from there, yours looks wider.

Looks great! I have a question for you, where do you buy your foam? I am also building my own seat and want to cut the foam myself. Then off to an upolster to finish the job.

Closed cell for the base layers is the lightest and easiest. You can ever drill 3 or 4 inch holes in it to lighten even more. I use a dual density foam for the top. Not sure what Metso uses.
