holz vs ez-ride

I realize you are not questioning my integrety. I understand your questioning of the performance validation from someone who is sponsored or represents a product but please consider the source here. I appreciate your comments and respect your opinion and research. Without field testers how do average people get an opportunity to be informed on products? For example look at the BS that gets commonly spewed around here. It's maddening for the manufacturers. I AM ONE OF THEM AND BATTLE IT DAILY! Sometimes a consumer is the worst marketer of a good product. In the hands of the wrong person things can often be far less then excellent irregardless of potential. Who else his can offer you or any other interested party accurate actual field tested results and information? It's not my job to sell these things. It's my job to ride it, report how it works, and help those that either have one and are not having success with it, or want one, and wonder if it's the right decision. Sure you have to take what people say with some level of speculation but you also need to consider the source and balance your opinion on it.
Install and ride the suspension you bought. It will probably be excellent and very enjoyable to own. Arrange and ride a well setup ALPHA-X equipped sled then come on and post your results for informational purposes. It's not about ego, or I bought this, or use this so it's got to be the best. It's about experience and informing others of those experiences so that they can benefit from it. THAT IS WHAT WE ARE DOING HERE.
Now like I said..having actual experience of riding a sled setup with the ALPHA-X and normally taking a similar sled along that is stock suspensioned with custom setup shocks for over 600 miles of mtn riding in every environment and this Holz ALPHA-X is absolutely and unequivacably worth $2500. I also strongly believe that it is superior to the other suspensions named in similar price ranges do to all of the facts that I've already addressed based on my in field use experience.
This sled is available for customer test or demo rides and has been ridden by several people across the western us. See me in McCall Id, Baker Or, Afton Wy, Jackson Wy, or any other area we might be traveling too and ride it. See for yourself.

Zollinger is offering EXIT shocks built for the EZ ryde, roughly $1,000 for the two skid shocks.

just looked at those, and triple rate springs are waht i want...any idea is EZ will sale the skid without the shocks?

Just order the EZ-Ryde from ZBroz and you'll get the Exit's.
Then my opinion would prob be the easy ride is better but i like holz as a company never tried either though. WOuld like to try them one day. I always found that the supensions besides the easy ride one are a lot like the stock ones by looks. The holz seems just like a doo and the timber sled is just like a yamaha. THe only difference looking at them is they are a bit lighter and the shocks. My guess is the mount points are different to. If you where will ing to adjust and fiine tune your supension and get better shocks and spend the time doing it you might be able to give yourself a ride thats just as good for cheaper. I cant say abou the ez ride though cause thats a totally diffent setup all together. If you get one let us no how good it is.
