HMK Backpack?

I had one and really liked it. Yes it does hold a lot, but I now own a BCA Stash and I feel it is more comfortable although I don't think holds as much.

maybe you should let people know to what extreme torture test you put your hmk pack to, and how it held up.I also like my hmk pack, but was scared of losing the shovel handle. so i left the shovel together caught a low tree branch last season and tore the pack open. now i need a new one.

I have the hmk pack realy like it.I put the bottom part of the handle in the mesh pouch at the bottom of the pack.So thats holds it also and the two velcro straps.

Three years with one and its still looks like new. I like that it doesn't let everything fall to the bottom. I've caught lots trees before and only once did the shovel handle come loose on the top velcro but never fell out. I carry extra gloves, mask, hat, sweater, goggles, food, parts, gps, batteries, compass, tools, survival stuff, probe, shovel, and short snow bunjie.
