Hmk awsome !!!! Customer service !!!!

So many of you may have seen my post about my hmk pro boa boots. If not here is the short of it. I bought them at the beginning of the 06 season, halfway through the 07 season I was ready to throw them away. They were falling apart. So I figure what can it hurt, I will send them back to hmk and see what happens.
So I send hmk an email, to which they respond the very next day with a phone call. I shiped my boots to them. didnt hear anything for about 10 days. I get home today and there is a hmk box on my front porch. Sweet I guess, So I open it to see what kind of repairs (if any) they did to my boots. What do you know a BRAND NEW PAIR OF BOOTS!!!!! free of charge !!!!
Needless to say I am more then happy !!!!! Thanks aton to the guys at HMK!!!!

i didnt get nutting asfar as service, ofered me 20$ credit for a new pair . local klim dealer gave me same deal ,now have klim.

That's as important to other customers as your new set of boots is to you.

Sounds like Klim took a page from HMK. Kirk has been taking care of customers for years and has set the bar for what snow manufacturers should do. Luckily I have not had a problem with my HMK boots or gear but I know that if I did they would stand behind the product. Klim is a great brand and they take good care of there customers, it is just that Kirk has been doing it since day one.

wait a minute, hasnt Klim been around for much longer? when did HMK start up? I was curious as to who was out there first, I thought Klim also had great customer service since day 1, and always thought they were here way before HMK, but I don't know, anyone else?

KLim was around 1st I believe. I personally had problems with them about years ago.

I have recieved the same great service at HMK, very nice to deal with and a great product, and yes they are always trying to improve on any flaws the product may have and constant testing for better designs and materials,
