HM Turbos - No More Messing with the "BOX"

Your profile says your 41, is that a misprint?? Cause you sound like your 16... All he wanted to know is what was gonna be tunned smart@ss

And Precision EFI thanking this guys posts:face-icon-small-dis Jeezus grow up

"All he wanted to know is what was gonna be tunned smart@ss"...Really? Is that what you got from his post? In my first post on this thread and my first time back to Snowest in probably a year, I merely post how I'm stoked to be getting this new unit, and if anyone locally in my riding area wants to know more or check it out, they can tallk to the guy who will be working on ("tuning") my sled.

This guy uses that to imply that either the unit should do everything for me already for $2,000 and the the sled shouldn't need tuning as that is the point of the system.

I generously offer my sled as a test-ride for guys, and he's "boggled" by my comments etc. And that he is so shocked at my comments, that he cannot convey how counter intuitive my post is? And now, according to you, I need to grow up now?

And to top it off, other memebers chine in and also say they are mystified by my comments in some way or the other. And NOW I screwed the thread?....two more slaps please.

What kind of pansy arsed leftist homos are signing up to this forum these days? SLAP

So I'm in ak and can't come test ride or I'd take you up on that, but when is it looking like you'll get her installed and on the snow? I'm curious to hear how she runs and love hearing reports from customers instead of dealers as for the most part my decisions have to be made from reports not test rides.

HM Turbo

Hey Guys,

I have gone ahead and purchased the HM kit for my 2012 Pro and a friend is doing his at the same time on his 2013. I will be running my stock 155", he will be running a stock 163". So we will have some cool comparisons in the future, the sleds will be ready to go by December.

I did a lot of research prior to going with the HM kit. I have never ridden a turbo sled but like most was not interested in dropping the money on a kit that would hamper tree riding. Minimum lag, pump gas, and ease of tuning were important. All the reading I have done have pointed me in the direction of the HM kit. One company referred to my goals as an 'Altitude compensating turbo,' which it is, I don't need 250hp during high boost, I want 180hp at the stab of the throttle.

The stand alone ecu was enough to sell the kit alone, but research into the Variable Vein Turbo sealed the deal. The kit seems very complete, the fact that there is only one kit offered shows all the development went into it and not other options.

I hope it is the game changer it sounds to be!

I look forward to your experiences and will follow your posts.

For me I have a new 2013 sled coming, kit and sled built by Shane at HM, plus interchanging the old programmer to the Vi-pec on my 2011 HM turbo.

the 2011 is 163, the 2013 is 155. If I can recreate the power I had on my '11, which ran 7lbs of boost from memory (see, THAT'S how useless I am, dont even know my boost)...boy, when I had it going right, it was nuts. 3-4ft of fresh and wheelieing up the hill.

PM me sometime

My 13 155 is practically sitting right next to yours in his shop, although I'm not getting boosted.
I'd sure like to see how a boosted 2013 155 will do.

This is what I like to hear! The 155" may not be the most practical but it will be soo much fun! I will for sure take some pics and send an update as soon as its ready. Sadly (in a way) I have to go to Thailand for a wedding, hence no updates till December, but I will get out asap when I return! Another week of cool weather and we should have a good amount of snow out west!

Haha Damn if I would have read that sooner we could of hooked up for a beer! Anyhow I did see that your friends have been on the snow with your kit and it sounds like they were impressed. That is good, I wish I was in the same situation, my sled was dropped off a month ago and still is not working.

Please shoot me a message when you are back in Canada and have a little seat time. I doubt I will have been on mine before then.

This **** cracks me up i ride my sled 4days a week in the winter and RIDE!! not talk ****!! most of the post on here are for people to comunicate with each other! not bash each other! and the funny thing is most of the crap I read from these turbo guys there heads are so big with the wrong knowledge that the only way they reach the top of the chutes is from all the air in there heads common guys!! were here to help each other out not to mention all you people who just run your mouths about what right and whats wrong!!! you dont no crap!! if your smart listen to the one who build the systems and the guys who have been running successfully!! not the guy who burns down his motor 3 times a year but tell you how to set your sled up!! alright done!!! now im off to do what we all love to do RIDE!!!
