So it is my 2nd year on a HM TURBO - installed by Shane and the boys in LOLO.
I have watched numerous threads...Thought id add my 2 cents.
Im running a 13, large injector kit. Last year running the 6.5 psi pump gas this year running the 7psi full av map.
I like Danny Dangles - am still running mechanical boost control - I have had ZERO issues with the kit thus far
Avgas tune - comes on the pipe a little softer - the pump gas hits hard - I mean really hard at 6500 RPM, the power comes on with the avgas a little softer - don't get me wrong its still a missile.
My comments this trip - starts good, doesn't load up, no sputtering or bobbles all the group we rode with are amazed - they called BS until they rode it. BTW we had two sleds-mine and a buddies pump gas - ride together all the time - no issues.
With the av gas map I had to add an extra gram of weight to keep the RPMS right vs the pump gas map it used to be, we rode in the trees as it was quite hard to see, and once again, easy to ride, power when u need it. - pump gas was a hand full as it lights up quicker.
LOVE the data logging - I rewired my kill switch to be the data logging on off - works like a charm, did a couple of big pulls, - pulled the data and noted boost, EGT, TPS as well as numerous other data - just nice to be able to. (Thanks for hooking this up LEVI)
NEXT on the list - the dual mapping, for 2 boost levels is coming - flip a switch, change weights and go - once I install this - Ill hook up the EBC and will let you folks how it works.
If things go awry - be sure that you will all know, I call'em like I see'em. If I spent mucho $$$ and if it was a toilet, you'd all know - I work hard for my $$$, and spend lots of time researching and digesting information before pulling the trigger, and appreciate the reviews of other folks - hopefully unbiased and truthful......- but lots of digesting is required as the bias tends to be large these days.
