High milers

96 F-250 ext. cab powerstroke 249,000 mi. Runs great 3in. down pipe, 4" exhaust, Edge Evolution, external tranny filter, extra large tranny cooler, and F-350 front axle. It spent the first 8 years and 230,000 mi. towing a large goose neck trailer all over the united states. The last 6 years i put on the 19,000 mi. hauling my toys on the weekends. It will still get 18 mpg if i cruise at 55 mph or haul the sled deck with beaver tail empty at 75 mph from yakima over Snoqualmie to puyallop, only 16-17 mpg if i go any faster than 55 empty and 12-14 mpg hauling a 4,500 lb enclosed snowmobile trailer.

'00 F350 7.3, never babied and is usually towing something from a 2 place to 30' gooseneck. Trans @ 290,000, injectors and turbo @ 310,00. Been a great truck and has been retired to the Grand Mesa to plow snow with 389,000 on it now. Great truck!!!!!!!!!

'04 duramax lly 138k, new t case at 128 (famous pump rub) and idler arm(my fault didn't grease it ) 3rd set of tires, other then that it runs good.

At work we have a '97 Dodge 2500 cummins. Has 276,000 miles, runs ok. Probably would still run great if it would've had any kind of maintnance at all. Kind of a money pit right now. Everytime we start driving it around, something else goes wrong. Gets great mileage, but has no guts left.

'91 chevy 1500 with the 4.3 V6, 315,000 miles. No compression left, but still runs.

'93 chevy 2500 350 with 245,000 miles, spent pretty much all it's life on gravel roads and in stubble fields doing soil tests (read: chasing coyotes). Not much compression, burns a lot of oil, but drives down the road nicer than most new pickups.

Sold my 94 Dodge 2500 diesel in 03 with 286,000. Only problems were the 2 times the tranny had to be rebuilt. My 03 only has 70k so far...gotta love the Toyota commuter :D

98 dodge 12valve- 325k miles. Rebuilt tranny, original engine, and I don't know the last valve adjustment:face-icon-small-dis I love this rig!! You have to herd her down the road, but that's a Dodge thing...
00 GMC 5.3 187k without a problem that was not self inflicted; she ran against the 100 mph speed limiter with an actual speed of about 8 mph and a whole lot of tire smoke- the next week I pulled an apple sized mess out the magnetic drain plug:face-icon-small-hap

98.5 cummins 24v: all original parts other than performance stuff, 218k, just getting the rings seated....lol. I plan on driving it til I die.

96' F-150

1996 F-150 ext cab short box, 4x4, 351, E4OD, 158k. Not a high miler in my mind yet, but I've got a spare motor in the garage (bought a $100 plow truck with a good 351, nothing else was any good) if my motor goes. Ball joints, every U-joint except front drive shaft, fuel tanks (damn rust), and the usual brakes/tires/fluids/ignition parts. Tows a 21' boat all summer in MN, and 2 or 3 sleds in the winter in CO. Still get 17mpg unloaded, 10-12 towing.

posted in Jan. 2010--- 2004 F150 at 203k. Now at 211k. New trans in.....Still trying to like the thing. Little items keep popping up like 4 cats, new tires, etc.

Took an old 92 Toyota on trade the other week with 758,000kms = 470,000 miles. Thought that was pretty cool for original gas motor.
