keep it free would be a good start.i just cant see myself paying to help out newbies.
Seems like there were only a couple mods in the past so you could get away with a lot more. Now with the additional mods people are being held accountable for what they post and the rules are actually being enforced. Its been a long time coming. Things will calm down.

It always amazes me how quickly people will give up the responsibility of behaving and wait for more troops to "Make them" behave.
I only really come back here for PM's and stuff but my home is B-C-R now and I don't see any, and I mean anyone bashing each other or getting way out of hand at all. It, for the most part is self policed and is running well.
If I don't like the title or the extended title while "Mousing over" I simply don't click on it.
I don't need an over zealous mod deleting everything or every post I say.

If your not willing to elaborate, why put something up? To stir? While I have no affiliation with avow or other groups, it appals me to believe you would insight something so negative as "gestapo".
I did my research as well. And after researching Harris Publishing and Christopher's post which states "snowest will have its own hardware", feel that if he and Brian violate the statements, they will have to answer to themselves and Harris Publishing, because you and I will not know!
To what degree do you take statements like you posted? Someone that truly believes in what they say, will stand behind their statements! Obviously, you have NO ground to stand on as you won't follow-up.

I really stirred the pot before I left........sorry I don't remember you. I don't even remember why Adrenaline Revolution should be mad at me. The only person I remember that was really mad at me was MPS....thats it. Like I said I really stirred the pot before I left......blaze of glory mentality.

For me personally both sites $uck right now. I always liked getting on SW and checking all the new posts. Had a few laughs in Fouled Plug, but mainly I would go check out the M section. There is nothing going on here anymore. Hardly any new posts in the Cat section except for the occasional which can is louder than than the other. Should I port my chain case or leave it stock. The only new stuff in fouled plug is bashing. The over moderating has been no good for anyone. I joined the new site right away...but I am pretty disappointed. Same thing over there...a lot of SW bashing and not much of any value. Barely any new M series posts from day to day. My work gets pretty slow in the winter and I used to spend a lot of the day killing time on SW. I learned a lot, got help with some sled problems and I think helped others with a few. I met a guy on here that became a friend and goes on our yearly trip out West. Not sure where I was going with this... Hopefully this site can turn around and get back to where it used to be, even if it costs a guy $10 a year. The way things are now I wouldn't pay it. Even though now I have nothing to keep me occupied at work!
