No sled, no place to ride a sled here, I'm into sand dunes, kinda what I would imagine to be like very dry snow.
I have several machines for my passion, Banshee, Honda Pilot, Service Honda (CR500), and a Cannondale with a CR500 engine.
Bet your wondering what the hell I'm doing here?
Here's my story and I'm sticking to it. I recently got the pilot, it's a small buggy with a sled type clutch setup, I have to admit it's under powered but a blast to ride, the quad and bike are more fun, higher power to weight ratio but with global warming my season is getting shorter, if above 78*F I just get too hot on the bike or quad.
I have been thinking I need a new ride, something like the pilot but more power, UTV's are still too much like a golf cart. I'm thinking a rail, small mike the pilot, more power. that is what brings me here, the Sleds have been making good power, light weight, this may be what the doctor ordered.
I am more a 2 stroke guy than 4 but open minded, I've been thinking modern 800, 160 HP range? can they be pumped up and still be reliable?
Anywho, I'll cut it off there and be browsing around.
