Headlight reflector fix today.

Since i have headlight out,, i was wondering has anyone not put tghat vent scoop that goes to the disc brake ?

I'm wondering is it better to just leave that vent open for regular vent in hood ?

Or is it good to have that vent have the routing plastic and get the cold air in deep ?

I took that completely out and replaced it with a vent that looks exactly like the other 2 on the hood. Vent cost is about $16 from your local dealer.
I have a lot of venting so I'm not worried about a vent specifically to my brakes...besides, I never use the brake anyway.

Thanks,, so you took yours out too. My Fusion had a plastic screen on the front mounted to the hood,, so removal of it is not noticable from the outside anyhow.
I agree w/ the brake thing, i just let up and get set for next turn. I do all trail in Michigan.
