Rode Hatchers on Sat and then Turny Yesterday.

Turny= slush cup and there are fracture lines everywhere

Hatchers= Decent snow (enough a new guy with us got stuck) and maybe a trek over dogsled is in order before the season is out.

Has anyone been over dogsled lately?

And Rob, sorry man. I havent been around the forums lately so I just now seen the post about riding.

Went over dogsled Friday and Sunday. Snow was good, better on Friday:D the higher you go the better the snow. Watch for slides. Last ride for me this year, spun the Diamond drive on the way out Sunday:(.

Hate to admit it, but that's what I needed to hear. I really needed to hang it up for the season, but wasn't ready to quit on my own.:D So, if you're looking for light at the end of the tunnel (or spun diamond drive), you did me a favor!

Ummm, was that related to your changing clutches back? Please tell me it's something my stock sled won't have to worry about?

Let me know if I can help. Great riding with you this year...looking forward to next fall!

Hatcher Pass East Management Area & Summit Lake State
Recreation Site Snow & Trails Report
Wednesday, April 22, 2008
ATTENTION SNOWMOBILERS: All designated areas in the Hatcher Pass East Management
Area and Summit Lake State Recreation Site are still open to snowmobiling. Snowmobiliers are
currently enjoying the best snow cover we have had all winter long. Unfortunately recent sunny skies and
warm temperatures have begun to melt the snow, especially in the afternoons. So far the snowpack is
staying firm with some surface thawing. Park Rangers are monitoring the snow conditions daily and
anticipate closing to snowmobiling soon. Please remember that snowmobiles must be currently registered
with the Division of Motor Vehicles to operate legally on public lands. Snowmobilers are also reminded
that it is unlawful to operate a snowmobile on a maintained roadways.
