WOW! the snow couldn't get any better last weekend. It dumped up there Thursday night and there was at least 2 feet of new snow, making riding great if you were able to see where you were going on Friday, and then Saturday turned out a nice day and the riding was good! I also enjoyed riding with all my sled chickas!

This coming weekend is there poker run, and will be heading back.

I'm headed to halfway tmrw 4 am from the dalles. Haven't been there in 3 years. Anyone gonna be up there that can lead me and 2 guys around. All m8's mine is turboed tho

It was blue skies all day Sunday and the snow was still pretty fluffy for not being any fresh in a while. It was my first time up to Halfway....gonna have to come back soon, it's a great area to ride!

Big black nasty looking cloud covering that end of the hill yesterday! Hopefully putting down a dumpage for Crab Feed on Saturday. At least it's cold again. SNOW SNOW SNOW

So what are the current snow conditions? We are currently slated to come that way on Thursday for a long weekend. Is it worth a 5 hr drive or should we head elsewhere. Thanks for any info.

Saturday around fish lake was absolutely EPIC. Best overall day of the year. Cold, calm, sunny, and we were the first to the goods. Hero, go anywhere base, with a foot plus of granular sugar depending on the lay of the land and tree situation. It looked like a 2 year old with an "etcha sketch" everywhere we went. Seven of us laid waste to milesand miles of untouched pow pow.

Been sunny since Saturday so might be loosing some quality. Further west on the e caps was very good on Sunday too. Looks nice this morning and it's remaining cold, but there is a slight high cloud cover so hopefully another system moving this way.

Crab feed was a blast! Great great time all around.
