Gun ban is a coming; HR 45

That's exactly what happened here and it's only getting worse.

Thanks bro...exactly! We have to look at other nations! Australia, England, even Canada....no offense to you guys up north. Do you think crime ceased after gun control was enforced....haha....it increased X4 in Australia!

would it not make more sense to make a law that clearly states " if you commit a crime wth a gun, you will have a stick of dynamite shoved up your azz and you must light the fuse".

problem solved.

throw away the bad apples, not the cider.

LMAO...these people don't have common sense bro...besides they want mindless sheep that follow and obey.

Up in Canada we have had gun registrations and firearm owner licensing for years now. Very popular out East where the votes are and very unpopular out West. We can thank the Liberals for this. Conservatives are in for their second term now and promised to get rid of the measures but that has not happened to date. We were told that in the western provinces, these laws would not be enforced. That statement is misleading also.
Hear of a few people getting busted for various firearm storage infractions. Even had a relative, who had a marriage breakup, go to court and have his rights to own firearms taken away even though his ex wife did not press any charges. And he did not threaten anyone with a firearm.

Good luck to you guys.

I think what we ought to do it take the border between us and canada and flip it 90 degrees making a new country to the west and the mess which is becoming america the east.

In all seriousness, I too am scared for what my son will have to go through its almost enough to make me not want to have anymore kids and make them suffer. I will stand right next to anyone that is fighting for freedom and our rights as they are set apart by our founding fathers. This counrty is rapidly becoming what the founding fathers were trying so hard to get away from and I'll be damned if I'm going to just stand idle and let it happen.

I love it! People like you give me hope! I will be standing right next to you brother! Maybe we better start a private forum on this! ....too many eyes/ears that don't like us!

the ignorance in DC is simply baffling. everyone I know is buying and trading guns to get past the reg thing.....why do we have to live in fear......it's retarded.

I'll be working on getting some more guns under the radar as well if I can ever find a decent job in this worthless economy. ksl.com has lots of good buys with no registration to worry about.

ya they do...and hit all the gun shows you can. Look in your local Thrifty Nickel or Penny saver...lots there too. gunsamerica.com is a good source....but you are gonna have to drive to the location and buy it. You can't ship across state lines without someone with an FFL.

Amen to this post! I joined the Air Force 6 years ago out of a feeling of duty to my country and to protect the freedoms and family that I love so much. I fully plan on serving 20 years on active duty because I feel that 1/4 or so of my life is a small service I can do for a country that has given so much to us all.

During the last 6 months I've been finding myself worrying more and more about what is going to happen. While I did swear to defend this country from all enemies foreign and domestic, I also swore to follow the orders of the officers appointed above me to include the Commander in Chief. Now I've been feeling a dilema building inside of me. How can I (in good conscience) follow the orders of someone who seems to be destroying everything I swore I would protect?

When it comes down to the line I will be loyal to my country as all Americans should be.

One observation that I can personally attest to in my 6 short years on active duty...I have only met 2 democrats that have been in the military. They had their valid points but seemed to be a lot closer to the middle than the left. The majority of people I have served with are from smaller towns, and middle class-blue-collar families that bleed red white and blue.

Anyways back on topic: Out of my cold dead hands Obama...seriously, does he really think he can take the personnally owned guns away from the military? Who is going to come and get em? I sure as hell wouldn't want to be the guy knocking on a Marines door demanding his weapons.

Amendment II

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

What do these people not understand about the second amendment? Its fairly straight forward what our founding fathers intentions were.

I have had the same thoughts bro! I completely understand. I am proud to serve my country and my community, but I will not be the one taking guns away from law abiding citizens...if that carries consequences...so be it.

ok if you do not like what our goverment is doing change it

1 vote Tried that abviously didnt work
2 run for office (evryone) Not unethical enough and have morals, that doesnt get yufar in politics
3 overthrow the goverment and yes we can do it Looking to be the only way out of this currupt trend we are in

Better get stockedup on guns, ammo, survival gear and the same good ol fashion pride and will for freedom that founded this country in the first place

obama might want to consider something, in the civil war one side was taking away a possesion of the other (slaves), in this case the gov't is trying to take away from the people (rights, money, freedom). it was a brother against brother war in the north vs the south.....but this time around it's gonna be brother against big brother. I have many military friends who will not drop the hammer on their own people.

this could get interesting.

Fixed it for ya :D Your right though what will he do when his own military turns on him?

you got me there. I do wonder if he is gonna live in a bubble. I would hate to be the body guards when he tours some small town in mississippi after a storm. he will prolly never go to texas.......ever, and prolly won't make the ball in wyoming either.

Ah, but it's not straight forward.
Here is the angle the liberals are taking.

The part about "A well regulated militia". Well guess what.
They claim they have the right to regulate what the militia's can and can't do. What weapons they can carry and so forth. Further more, it is their claim that unless you are signed up for the militia you don't have the right to bear arms.

Now this is wrong and they know it, but since when has facts and truth made a difference to liberals?

Another point.
As for a full scale armed revolution.
The primary problem with this is organization.
The government is VERY good at taking apart any real organized anti-government organization. They have to be.
Can you image what would happen if a well organized group came out and started recruiting for a revolution??

It will take something BIG. Those idiots in washington will have to go WAY over the line for an armed revolution to start.
Why?
No-one is willing to step up and start it. They usually just get arrested for murder, slammed by the press and that's it. They are just another criminal. It would take 10's of thousands to stand up as one and say no, followed by an all out armed assault on the politicians themselves. This is why civilations go down. The people see it coming, but there is no "Organized" resistance.

ok, my 2c is done.
(oh and I own a small arsenal with all the reloading equipment I need to last for quite a while)
