Are the exhaust valves in a 05 900 diffreant than the 06 900 ? and can someone explain the Detonation sensor to me don't understand the reason for it ?

yes the ex valves are the same between sleds.
DET sensor..What is it?
Knock (Detonation) Sensor
What does it do?
It picks up engine frequencies due to improper combustion and retards timing to the proper curve.
What happens when it fails?
The vehicle’s performance suffers due and will go into LIMP mode to save the engine from failure and create a check engine light flash
