Looks good Sean, I like them... great work Polzinhunter. Makes me want a 900 badge on mine!

Sean when I saw a fresh post I was hoping for pics of it repaired and ready for your trip! Did you round up all the stuff you needed??

Guido I really like the SPG bumper you put on. Looks like a fairly easy install, but what kind of bumper is on your wifes sled? Looks like it wraps around more.

hey bud.

Which bumper are you referring to..i have the SPG front and rear bumpers..

either way..they are very easy to install..my wifes sled has the 09 OEM front bumper and the OEM rear bumper...the skinz offers much stronger material and more coverage then the 09 OEM ones...both front and rear..

I will be getting a Skinz front/rear for hers this summer..in red of coarse

ref. to the one on your sled.......thanks. But The last picture in your thread for your wifes build it looks like the bumper on her sled wraps around the whole front of the machine. Just wondering not a big deal.

oh i got you..

yeh that was the "ballistic" front bumper..it did wrap around pretty nicely..but i sold it and got the 09 front end on her sled now..thats what confused me. lol..

you can try contacting W8TN4U on the forum for the bumper...but i hear he has been hard to get ahold of? but the bumper is AWESOME...

Got some SICK billet idlers from POLZINHUNTER on here finally installed...

and used the OEM wheel mounts this time..the ones i had before where mounted with a straight bolt and had the scratcher behind the wheel...

lasted me a year like this, and then the bolts busted and i lost bolt wheels

i sent him a pic of my MMP big wheel and he was able to match it for me, and its perfectly matched and looks incrediable..

THANKS KREG!!!

Those wheels are hot, really pops against your black tunnel Sean. Every time you break your sled it gets prettier.
POLZINHUNTER your products look top shelf. Let me know if you ever decide to make an 06 chain case cover :face-icon-small-win

Those things are NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (there's another few words I could use to describe them, but then I would have to give myself an infraction:face-icon-small-sho;):D)

WELL Done!

thanks for the comments guys..

i love the work that Kreg puts out..and no matter what i have asked him to do for me....the final product is ALWAYS BETTER then my orginal exspectations..

if you have an idea of something you need, or wanna that custom product on your sled..drop kreg a PM...you will be shocked and pleased how perfect everything is..

i love you kreg.........i mean..i meant to say....i love you ;) LOL

Got the FST hood installed...just to try something different...still need to run the headlight wiring...i might go with a switch so i can toggle between the Headlight and the Boondockers resistor...incase i switch hoods weekly, lol..

i also made some of my own venting...on the dash where the stock foam intake covers were..i dont want to buy SLP ones for $41, so i used some screen and silicone..double layed...its surprisingly quite strong...we will see if it holds up..

also wanted to keep my gauges on my bars..another option it gives me if i wanna change hoods quickly...plus i plant to get an AEM A/F gauge and Koso Dual EGTs eventaully, so i blocked off the stock gauges are with some .025" aluminum and...go figure...powder coated it black, lol...and when i get the gauges i will install them on the plate...if i go back to the IQR hood...i will have to come up with another option at that point...lol..

If your home vents work out good, you should make some under-windshield intakes the same way.
I used similar screen to cover over all my hood vents except the brake / chain case duct, much less under hood snow now.

yeh i thought doing it to the windshield area..but Bill @ Mountainfit hoods has a sweet one for only $30 it think..so will proably get that one, but need money...

i did the same thing with the screen to one of the hood holes...but i cant figure out how the hell to cover the HUGE holes in the front of the hood where the FST Intercooler would be??

If you applied the screen from the inside, could you get it tight enough? I have used a craft glue gun to secure screen, it works awesome.
