Guardsman Pass

take extra cautions in guardsmans, there a lots of natural and man made land mines up there. i've been riding up there for over twenty years and the forest service and the enviros have put in lots of traps so just be careful, or you may have a really bad day.just don't want to see any one come all the way down hear just to wreak there sled before the real stuff gets here.

FYI,
I took a little drive up from the park city side about 30 minutes ago and it looks like the road behind the gate is getting really thin. I hope it snows soon.

Just got back from christmas shopping at Cabela's, WOW what a lack of snow along the Wasatch front. 65 degrees in slc raining here in Ogden .
We need a cold front with snow.

Thinkingabout riding Guardsman!!!

Hey everyone!!! My buddy and I are making a road trip from Boise to go sledding. The only place I'm seeing is Guardsman Pass to ride. I've seen some photos and looks pretty decent. Is anybody going to be up there Dec 5-7th? to maybe show us around or something? We're very anxious to get out on the snow and we have to go to Utah to do it. :)

I wouldn't drive that far unless we get another storm. According to powder chasers here is where you should be going...
