Grow Up!!!

I spend more than $14 (a 1 year subscription) on random bolts, zipties, pencils, paper, hell my cellphone bill is like $150 a month.

$14 aint much for the amount of entertainment we get.

THANKYOU snowest for providing us with such an amazing tool.

Lemmings! And you sheep think The Mag owns this forum? Look up Snowest online in the Idaho stat gov website. Check who applied for and signed the new business lic. last Oct. Mr. CP himself. Kitty cat herself told me this was a lie so I gues the state of Idaho are liers. What a bunch of bunk.

Wow! Like this has not been covered many times. Funny how you believe what you want to. Don't be so afraid of the truth, it won't hurt you.

If you look at the bottom of every page it will tell you who is the owners of Snowest.
Christopher owns a managment company as it states on the Idaho gov. website. The managment company is called snowestonline,it manages the forums.
Harris wants to publish magazines not manage a forum.
I look after a number of my father in laws properties, collecting rents ect...and I to have a registered company that gets paid to do this for him.Do I own his properties,NO.
Due to the fact I have my own business in the trucking industry I have done it this way for tax reasons.
So quit beating the dead horse,Snowest is owned by Harris Publishing.
He may pass these properties onto us when he passes but in the mean time all titles are in my father in laws name.
I am not trying to start a conflict here just pointing out the FACTS.

All contents copyright 2007-2010, SnoWest Magazine, Harris Publishing Inc.

Now can we give this one a break!

Just for everyones information,as there are new sled related forums starting up all the time,I know of four in the last four years, and with the same amount of advertisers who are advertising on all these different sites, advertising dollars are beening spread thin.
With what it costs to be able to run a site and advertising dollars getting smaller where does the money come from, tough economic times so sponsors of all these sites still have the same budget,so they renegotiate and give lesser amounts to advertise to keep these sites going.
But as these sites grow operating costs go up,eg...bigger better, faster, servers...
I think we will see more forums going to a pay to use site, that is if they want to survive.
Just check out this link and you will see what I mean:www.snowandmud.com/forum/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=705881
I do not believe in internet fights and if you will notice I have stayed out of all this and kept my posts to sledding and sledding conditions but this is the future.
I really hope this helps clear a few things up and now I am going to go back to being a helpful poster on conditions on the section that I have been put in charge of.

Cheers,
Dave

Are you going to continue to use Snowest? If not can you please PM me with your contact info. I would hate to compile all of this info I get for three years, and not be able to find you to let you know what I have learned. It will only cost you $30, hey I just found a way get free membership again.

I have read several of your posts, you should really think twice about trolling. Your setting a bad example for all the paying members they might just get tired of you and revoke your super beauty paid membership.

Anyhow, if I am a subscriber to Snowest Magazine, do I get a free membership on here?

Good post Dave

Your right it does cost money to run a good forum, I'm glad snow and mud has enough advertisers to support it. The hard stuff is all the events that they put on like Mountain Mania and the ATV rallys. I personally know some of the members like myself and others have thrown in a few THOUSAND dollars collectively to help out at these events. I don't think money here though is the issue, most people are just unsure of what they're getting as the old days and ways of the forum are gone.
I support forums that benifit me directly and so far in my short time here it seems to more of a *****ing session than a real forum. I like most others am waiting for the dust to settle to see what the final product is. Unfortunately when you can't see the whole site it will make it difficult. :face-icon-small-sad I must say though the reading has been interesting lol.
